Now that our Fine Art Auction is over, I want to take the time to tell you how thrilled we are at St. Mary Parish with the entire experience. This, being our third auction in three years as a fund-raiser to repair and restore our parish roof, was our best yet: we doubled what we had made in the previous two years—from $10,000 to $20,000 net!
Perhaps there are other factors that contributed to this incredible jump, but the buzz around here is that YOU are the reason! You have a very professional, up-beat patter to your auctioneering, sprinkled with jokes and friendly jibes with the audience that keeps everyone engaged and energized. Plus, your in-depth knowledge of the art world turns the evening into an impressive education for your audience.
Thank you so much for coming and conducting such a productive fund-raiser for us! I can hardly wait for next year's event.

I had to write to tell you how very satisfied we are with Arin Ross. Our auction exceeded our goal of $5000, coming in at $7954! This is just amazing to us: we’ve held all types of fundraisers and have never come close to this amount. What made the biggest impression on me was what a pleasure it was to work with you and Arin Ross Auctions. If you recall, I rather panicked in the beginning when we were unable to find a venue for our auction. I’m so glad you convinced me to keep trying. Thank you for always returning my calls promptly, answering my questions and all the advice you gave me. Whether it was how to sell tickets or where to find additional tables, you always pointed me in the right direction. I had never attempted to run such an event and your support was greatly appreciated.
As for the auction…what can I say? Quite a few “doubters” thought it might be stuffy or even boring. It was anything but…! Larry (I’m sorry I don’t have his last name, but then he doesn’t need one- he is one-of-a-kind!) was terrific and we all loved him. He kept everyone on the edge of their seats, laughing at his quick wit and floored by his professionalism. The artwork you provided was absolutely beautiful. My only regret was that I was too busy and distracted to participate in the bidding. Next year, I will be sure not to let that happen, I will be front and center!
This brings me to one final thing I must tell you. I am thrilled Arin Ross extends their commission after the auction. Several people have asked me if they could purchase later on. I am probably the first person who actually has and the painting came yesterday. My husband had it unpacked and on display by the time I got home. He told me the packaging was impressive. I was a little concerned that I hadn’t seen it framed, but there was no reason to be. The frame is gorgeous and I love it. I was also surprised, but thrilled that it came so quickly.
Rick, it has been a true pleasure working with you. I am looking forward to next year’s auction and many more after that. Thank you.

Dear Mr. Brandwein,
Please forgive the lateness of this letter of thanks, which does not diminish the gratitude that we have here at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. I am referring, of course to the live art and silent auction fundraiser that took place in October.
From the beginning, our phone meetings were always informative and helpful, and you were very generous with your time while I asked a million questions. In addition, we were most grateful for the materials that you supplied to us. Needless to say, not having to incur expenses like printing invitations, posters, tickets and especially the ad journal, was a huge boost to our fundraiser.
Once you and your staff arrived on the evening of the art auction, it was clear how professional, efficient and knowledgeable you all were. The results and success of the fundraiser were due, in no small part to our combined efforts but especially to your guidance and expertise!
Please accept our sincerest thanks for your help in making our event a huge success! We look forward to our next fundraising auction.

I just wanted to thank you for a great auction on Saturday night! I got great feedback from people…everyone had a great time. It was perfect in every way-smooth as silk!
We were all so pleased with how much art we sold-I hope you felt that way too! Last year we sold $14, 305 in art and this year it was $25,000+- can’t argue with that! We made just about double what we made last year ($6,569 last year and $12, 268 this year!) Last year we sold 81 pieces- I don’t have the count from this year yet but I am sure it well over that amount!
Thanks you for all the great advice you gave me- the door prizes and silent auction items were a hit too! I still can’t believe that we had 214 people!!! Thanks you again for everything. Father Anthony was extremely happy too!
Dear Mr. Brandwein,
It is a pleasure for me to write this letter as testimony to the success of our first Art Auction conducted by Arin Ross. It certainly was one of the easier, most delightful and successful function my Rotary Club has ever conducted.
As this year’s President, I felt we needed another fund raiser and yet I wanted an event that could also double as an evening of fellowship. We certainly achieved both. We made money and had a wonderful time doing it. It was a ”class act” with no loose ends thanks to your total support.
I recommended the function with enthusiasm and certainly will encourage my successor to continue the event and turn it into our traditional autumn fund raiser and fellowship evening.
I want to tell you how pleased we were with the success of the art auction we held in February. It was the best attended and dollar-generating fund raiser the Westmont Parents Organization has held to date. I must compliment your company on the professionalism of the auctioneer, Mr. Glenn, and on the wonderful selection of paintings, prints and sculpture that were offered that evening. Many of the parents and friends who attended have commented on how pleasurable an evening it was and on how delighted they are with their purchases.
As the organizer of the event, I must personally thank you for making my job so relatively easy. Your office and people were most helpful.
I would not hesitate to recommend your services to other interested organizations and as proof of my pleasure, let me say that I look forward to working with you again in February.

I wanted to send a note to thank you for helping to make our latest Food & Wine Tasting & Charity Art Auction our most successful event ever. You were the talk of the evening from everyone who attended. Your ability to not only engage and entertain the audience while conducting the auction but to know when and where to involve multiple bidders in making purchases is uncanny. The success of the event exceeded everyone’s expectations and in three short years has allowed it to become the second largest fundraising event at our parish!
I want to personally thank you for your guidance and expertise in helping to organize the auction portion of the evening and for working with us to assemble a spectacular selection of art, sports memorabilia and autographed items. I was amazed at how many of the items sold. As you know planning and executing an event of this size and complexity is a major task….your expertise with the auction portion helped take a huge burden from me. Thank you!
I look forward to working with you at next year’s event and am confident we can make the next event even more successful than this year’s.
